'Great fit': Kate Fairmaid is sales director for WHITEFOX's new Queenstown office

Australian-based boutique real estate ‘disruptor’, WHITEFOX, began its expansion into New Zealand last week by opening an office in the Queenstown CBD.

Founded in Melbourne in 2017 by University of Otago alumni, Marty Fox, the company’s made its presence felt across the luxury market in Australia, and quickly established itself as a leader in digital and ‘‘dynamic’’ real estate marketing.

Its Queenstown sales director is well-known local, Kate Fairmaid.

She’s had seven years’ sales and projects experience with traditional agencies and more recently with her own company, Origin Property, which WHITEFOX has acquired.

WHITEFOX marketing and operations manager, Jamie Graham, says there’s a strong alignment between Fairmaid’s vision and the brand Fox has created.

‘‘And with Australia boasting a large buyer pool for Queenstown, the move is a smart one for the company.’’

Graham describes WHITEFOX’s branding and marketing as ‘‘cut-through’’.

The local office is on the corner of Beach and Rees Streets.

A second NZ office is due to open in Auckland next month.

Supporting the company’s NZ expansion, Dunedin boy and company CFO Rory Stumbles is moving across the ditch after stints in London and Melbourne.
