Local learners are heading to a national competition to show off their impressive literature knowledge.
Te Kura Whakatipu o Kawarau students, from left, Tom Straton, 12, Musa Hisham, 11, Henry Day, 11, and William Day, 9, last month won the Central Otago Kids’ Lit Quiz, sending them through to nationals in Wellington in June.
The group of four beat both Wānaka’s Mt Aspiring College teams in the area heat, held at Frankton’s Remarkables Primary School.
