If you’re after a cheap read, Queenstown’s annual St Joseph’s School book fair, running tomorrow from 10am till 2pm at its Beetham Street
campus, has you covered.

But alongside oodles of second-hand books there’ll also be a white elephant sale and many other items for sale in cluding plants and baking along with a cafe and chocolate wheel.

Pictured getting into the spirit with a book character dress-up day last Thursday are, back row from left, Tom McCondach, 7, Eddie Anderson-Covos, 10, Beau Dunstan, 7, and, front row, Beatrix Copland, 5, and Paige Johnson, 7.

Tomorrow, students will also read their poetry and perform in musical groups, including a choir, with Year 7 and 8 students also running stalls.

‘‘It’s really good for their entrepreneurial skills,’’ deputy principal Alice Dunstan says.
