Queenstown Arts Society is calling for entries to a new end-of-year show at Te Atamira.

All types of art on all types of media, great and small, will be accepted for the ‘Inside Outside In-between’ show, including unframed works on paper, video and 3D.

Arts society secretary Tracy Porteous says the show’s aim is to be ‘‘friendly but provoking, offering a vast scape for artists to make the new work we are seeking’’.

‘‘Looking around us is always inspiring here, and we want to make it even more so with an invitation to add the imaginative quotient of what
might exist ‘in-between’,’’ Porteous says.

‘‘Artists, let your imagination fly and weave your magic.’’

It’s a members-only show but Porteous urges non-members keen to enter to join the society for a year — ‘‘it’s not expensive — and bring your art to our show’’.

Entrants’ work will be exhibited from October 26 to November 25.

Entries close October 20.
