In perfect conditions last Sunday, an encouraging 62 swimmers braved Lake Whakatipu for the Southern Lakes Swimming Club’s annual
open day, with 18 of those signing on asnew club members.
They included member Steph Austin (pictured), who’s a pool lifeguard.
