Three Queenstown bodybuilders hauled in 10 medals between them at last weekend’s ICN nationals in Hamilton.
In ICN federation competitions — the initials stand for ‘ICompete Natural’ — competitors commit to being drug-fee.
From left are Audrey ‘Drey’ Tendron, who won two silvers and a bronze, Megan Duncan, who won a silver and three bronzes, and Karine Robertson who picked up a gold, a silver and a bronze.
Tendron says their medal return, in a high-calibre competition, is ‘‘a great result for a small town’’.
She says they’re very grateful to locals who bought tickets in a raffle held to support their travel costs, and businesses that donated prizes.
Tendron and Duncan this weekend represent New Zealand at the INC Oceania champs in Melbourne.
