In what would be Queenstown’s largest real estate deal for some time, a large slice of Homestead Bay, 163.46 hectares between Jack’s Point and Lakeside Estates, is under contract to an undisclosed party for about $70 million.
The overall 190.68ha block, split into two titles, was listed for sale in April by Bayleys Queenstown agent Chris Campbell and international realtor Knight Frank.
The larger 163.46ha title is under contract, while Campbell’s remarketing the 27.22ha title, which borders Lake Whakatipu and has been pegged for a possible marina and five-star hotel.
