A monster garage sale’s planned in Arrowtown next month, to help raise money for the town’s volunteer fire brigade.

The fireys are teaming up with New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty to host the ‘Great Arrowtown Garage Sale’ on Sunday, March 12.

A bunch of garage sales will pop up at properties all over Arrowtown that morning — locals can get involved by either registering to host a garage sale, or support the event by buying a map and going shopping.

Items will include vintage and pre-loved household items, furniture, clothing, bric-a-brac, and toys.

All money raised through the sales will go straight to the brigade, which is trying to raise a massive $150,000 for a new emergency response vehicle, including some replacement medical equipment.

More details about the Great Arrowtown Garage Sale, including how to register to host one, to come.
