A national engineering consultancy’s giving a local Year 13 student financial assistance to attend university.
Cosgroves, which has a Queenstown office, has awarded its 2022 Wakatipu High School scholarship to Harry McVicar, who’ll study engineering at Canterbury University next year — he’s pictured with ops GM Aimie Skelton.
It’ll also give him work experience over summer to help him complete his professional development requirements.
Cosgroves says Harry’s ‘‘driven, confident and astute’’, and he excels academically and in the extra-curricular sphere’’.
