Arrowtown School has continued a tradition of producing winning rippa rugby teams that goes back 12 years.

At the Central Otago champs in Queenstown this month, its Year 8 team won the Year 7/8 grade, beating the school’s Year 7 team in the final.

The Year 6 team won the Year 5/6 grade, beating an Alexandra side in the final after beating Queenstown’s Remarkables Primary in the semis.

Previously, Arrowtown School has competed in Otago champs, and represented Otago at nationals.
