It’s with that whakataukī, Mountain Scene’s proud to have updated its masthead to include a te reo Māori message, ‘Kei te pū o tō hapori’, which translates to ‘At the heart of your community’, something we have been proud to be for almost 50 years.
While Scene’s timed this to coincide with Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), as we reaffirm our commitment to te reo, and make greater efforts to celebrate all our cultures, particularly te ao Māori, the new addition to our masthead will be permanent, as will macrons, which will soon be appearing in all Allied Press publications.
He waka eke noa.
