NZSki staff swapped their respective Queenstown hills for the burbs late last week, taking over the local Mr Whippy ice-cream van.

Last Friday and Saturday the Coronet Peak and Remarks crews sounded the Greensleaves chime all over the resort, popping up at Hanley’s Farm, Kelvin Heights, Shotover Country, Fernhill, Queenstown Gardens, Arthurs Point and Arrowtown, handing out free ice-creams.

Chief executive Paul Anderson says the initiative was a ‘‘small gesture’’ to show NZSki’s gratitude to the local community for their support over the 2023 season, which officially ended last Sunday.
