Queenstown travel agency xtravel has added yet more accolades to its growing list.
This month, xtravel won the ‘division of the year award’ and gained a place in the top-10 of the ‘independent icons rankings’ at the Flight Centre Travel Group’s independent conference in Brisbane.
The latter achievement puts owners Tori Keating and Niki Davies on an exclusive Uniworld river cruise, from Budapest to Vienna, this November, with the 50 top independent agents and brokers globally.
It’s the second consecutive year xtravel has won the awards, something Davies says they’re thrilled about, particularly given the climate of
the past couple of years for the travel industry.
Additionally, Keating won the peer-voted ‘travel entreprerneur of the year’, recognising her vision for the future of xtravel, and advocacy she does for the industry at large, including travellers, something she’s ‘‘amazed and humbled’’ to have received.
