A dinner auction organised last Thursday by Queenstown real estate agency Bayleys raised a healthy $33,281 for child health research charity, Cure Kids.
Bayleys nationwide is a Cure Kids platinum partner, while its local office helped bring the Highlanders pre-season rugby game to the resort the following evening.
As a result, the dinner included a Q&A with several Highlanders — Otago sports personality Paul Allison’s pictured interviewing the Super Rugby team’s new captain, Billy Harmon (centre), and All Blacks prop, Ethan de Groot.
The co-MC was Cure Kids South Island philanthropy specialist and ex-Shortland Street actor, Will Hall.
