Action!

Some familiar faces from our screens are getting another taste of Queenstown.

The third season of romantic TV comedy Under the Vines is now being shot in and around the resort town, with principal photography due to wrap up in December.

The series, which will also take in various Central Otago locations, stars (pictured) Australian expat Rebecca Gibney and British actor Charles Edwards, of Downton Abbey fame.

The pair play a socialite and lawyer who attempt to manage a run-down Central Otago winery, Oakley Wines, which they’ve inherited.

Last year’s shooting was split mainly between Queenstown and Clyde.

The third season is likely to be screened on TVNZ1 and TVNZ+ next year.
