After launching in Queenstown last month, a mountain biking camp, aimed at women, is headed to Europe.

The Mons Royale Future Ground Progression Camp was held in the resort over four days in April, where 10 riders pushed their limits under the watchful eye of world-class mentors and coaches.

The team’s now inviting female riders to register on the Mons Royale website for a chance to be part of the European camp, the dates and location of which are still to be confirmed.

They’re also on the lookout for brands and event organisers who want to partner with them.

Co-founder Hannah Acland says they want to help women’s progression in free riding, ‘‘but we can’t do it alone’’.

‘‘This is about getting more women riding at a higher level and bridging that gap.’’
