Goodbye snow season – hello fun in the sun.
Queenstown mountain biker Reon Boe says farewell to winter by tackling this 17-metre whopper at a Fernhill riding area called Dream Track yesterday.
Boe, 25, says landing the jump – which overlooks Lake Wakatipu and was built by the Queenstown Mountain Bike Club’s Nathan Greenwood – isn’t easy.
“It’s for experts, the toughest you get. It’s not for beginners,” Boe says.
Boe was joined by fellow riders Si Smith and Tom Hey.
