It’s being marketed as Queenstown Hill’s most-coveted section.

New to the market is a 4331 square metre section in a gated enclave, The Peak, which sits atop Queenstown Hill’s residential sector.

At 11 Pinnacle Place, it borders Crown reserve on two boundaries and is part of an exclusive 11-home community which also has a private fitness centre including pool, gym and sauna.

According to New Zealand Sotheby’s International Realty’s (NZSIR) sales blurb, ‘‘this site ranks amongst the very best of the region’s real estate opportunities in terms of location, view and exclusivity’’.

Local NZSIR sales associate George Passmore, who’s marketing the property alongside managing director Mark Harris, calls it ‘‘a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to create something pretty iconic in terms of position, in terms of land size, in terms of views’’.

Arguably best Queenstown Hill section: A section for sale at The Peak has views to die for

Though the site’s zoned rural under Queenstown council’s proposed district plan, along with 10 and 12 Pinnacle Pl, it already has resource consent approval for a substantial Fearon Hay-designed home, which a new owner can pick up if they want.

The consent, issued in 2020, is for a two-level, 1062sqm home along with a detached studio, which also allows for 365 days-a-year
visitor accommodation for up to 12 people.
