A promising young Queenstown saxophonist/composer couldn’t have got better help promoting the release of his first single this month.
The message, ‘Eliott Allemand’s new single AO out on October 8th’, beamed on prominently-placed digital platforms in 23 New Zealand centres including Auckland, Christchurch and, as pictured, Wellington.
While busking on the Queenstown waterfront a few months ago, Allemand, 19, had met Mike Gray, boss of outdoor media provider Go Media.
‘‘He wanted to support me in any way he could.’’
Allemand contacted Gray, weeks out from releasing his song, who put him in touch with colleague Hayley Wadmore, whom he liaised with over the design.
The music video of AO — released on platforms like Spotify and YouTube — showcases Queenstown scenery.
