After 11 years marketing Queenstown’s Ziptrek Ecotours, Nicky Busst (left) is leaping for joy at her new job, managing Arrowtown Promotion and Business Association (APBA).

Busst, who replaces Sue Patterson, says: ‘‘As a passionate long-term local I am very excited to have been given the honour of representing the businesses of Arrowtown and supporting them through what is, and remains, an extremely difficult time.’’

APBA chair Jimmy Sygrove adds: ‘‘Nicky is an obvious fit for the APBA, and has strong passion and enthusiasm for Arrowtown.

‘‘Her ideas tie in completely with our vision and strategy for the future that we believe will help Arrowtown through what we expect will be another tough 12 months ahead.’’

Sygrove also thanks Patterson for her work over 10 years, strengthening the Arrowtown brand through marketing, events and community liaison.

She’s been ‘‘an absolute rock’’, he says.

Busst starts in her new role on March 29.
