A silent auction of paintings by local ‘big names’ at Arrowtown’s Lakes District Museum — a fundraiser for its restoration project — runs till
Christmas Eve.

Flanked by museum projects manager Jane Peasey and director David Clarke at last Friday’s exhibition launch are two of those artists — Arrowtown-based entrepreneurs Nadia Lim, second left, and Mia Feasey — with their works.

The ‘30×30 Revisited’ exhibition’s held in conjunction with the Arrowtown Creative Arts Society, with other pieces created by the likes of Christine Lady Hill, Sir Michael Hill, winemakers Greg Hay and Grant Taylor and Wellington’s Ruby Jones, known for her Christchurch Mosque attack-inspired artwork of two women embracing.

The exhibition runs till January 29.
