Tiny triathletes will be able to test their mettle in Queenstown tomorrow.
Sport Central’s holding a ‘Stride, Ride and Slide’ event at the Queenstown Events Centre, open to kids aged between two and six.
Entrants will start with a 50 metre run, then there’s a 150m cycle, finishing with a slip and slide to the finish-line.
After a change of clothes, a prizegiving will be held as part of the Summerdaze Teddy Bear’s Picnic, which starts at the Events Centre at 11am.

Meantime, the Teddy Bear’s Picnic, which runs till 2pm, will include a silent disco, mural and face painting, bubbles, a free sausage sizzle, life-sized teddy bears and ‘‘magical creatures’’, sports games and a bouncy castle.
Free to attend, koha donations to Plunket are welcome.
