Gong for Q’town Kip McGrath

Top gong: Queenstown Kip McGrath centre director Lucy Geraghty accepts a top award from Kip McGrath CEO Storm McGrath

Kip McGrath Queenstown is officially one of the biggest franchises of its kind in the world.

At a franchise conference in Brisbane earlier this month, the Whakatipu’s education centre won a top award for having more than 200 students enrolled, and was nominated for Australasia ‘franchise of the year’.

Local Kip McGrath owner Emma Wilson says it shows they’re doing a ‘‘particularly good job’’ interacting with people, getting the word out about the centre, making full use of head office training and resources, and getting ‘‘great feedback scores’’ from parents.

She says the team’s delighted with the recognition.

‘‘I take pride in only employing passionate teachers to tutor for us, and I really think that shows in the quality of service that we provide to the children [and the] faith that the
parents have [in us].’’
