It's all go: The first building platform sod at Arrowtown's Arrowfields will be turned this week

A rare 20-lot subdivision in section-starved Arrowtown’s sold out in 17 months.

Arrowfields, on the town’s southwestern edge, off McDonnell Road, offered sections from 600 to 1073 square metres.

Prices ranged from $500,000 to $595,000.

Colliers International’s Queenstown office, which marketed the subdivision, worked with local homebuild companies to create housing options for the sites.

“We listened to buyer concerns around their need to meet a certain price point for their new home, and were able to bring in the right expertise to ensure the pricing was both clear and achievable,” local Colliers co-listing agent Stephen Hebbend says.

“It’s enabled some of our purchasers to fulfil a long-held dream of living in Arrowtown, something many thought would not be feasible.”

Local Colliers managing director Alastair Wood says the sell-out’s also “testament to the planning and forethought that went into the concept by the developers”.

“The end product will be an exceptional place to live, and we’re extremely proud to have led the sales campaign.”

Features of Arrowfields include a major regeneration project and tracks leading from the subdivision into the neighbouring residential area.
