La Rumbla restaurant in Arrowtown is looking for a HEAD CHEF/KITCHEN MANAGER to join our team of hospitality professionals.
This is a rare opportunity that will find the successful applicant working within a pre-existing - long-term team of chefs that are hungry to learn from your experience. You will also have the luxury of being guided by a senior team of passionate directors and an executive chef.
Some key points that we require consist of, but are not limited to:
• 5 years’ experience in a busy kitchen and for 1 year working as Sous Chef or Head Chef
• Skills to manage staff and understand the importance of a cohesive team environment.
• Be able to contribute menu ideas
• Be aware of and prepared to learn the vital roles that systems play in a successful business
• Have positive energy and prepared to grow in a nurturing environment.
• Be comfortable with a high paced service
Pay is negotiable for the right person including extra bonuses for budget targets and cost control.
