Toy Story 3

Expectations are high for the much anticipated Toy Story 3 and thankfully Disney Pixar did a fantastic job of not disappointing! From beginning to end, the plot and dialogue was true to the first two films and did not lose anything like others have before. You only have to look to Shrek the Third for an example of how a good movie series can go bad, but Toy Story has maintained the laugh out loud factor for children and adults alike and the exciting storyline keeps you gripped. A much different mood to this movie had me in tears for the last half hour, much to the amusement of our technical manager who I was watching it with. All I can say is if you don’t cry – or at least have that welling up feeling – there is something missing from your heart.

The fact that I watched it in 2D and not 3D detracts nothing from the experience and to be honest if there wasn’t 3D written all over the posters, you would never know that it isn’t just a normal 2D movie. Personally I think the 3D phenomena is just a fad, I much prefer watching a nice flat movie and not look like an idiot in those awful glasses!

What else can I say about Toy Story 3? Watch it, you’ll love it!
