Take a look at her now

Calling all Queenstown fashionistas – Winter Festival needs you.

The annual Ladies Fashion Challenge is back and organisers are on the lookout for local women to take part in the 12-week makeover programme.

It kicks off on April 4 and incorporates group fitness training, nutrition and choreography run by Funktional Fitness, Alpine Health & Fitness and Decode clothes store.

Open to ladies of all ages and sizes, successful applicants will work towards a common goal – to walk the catwalk in style and with confidence at the glam finale on June 30.

Queenstown mayor Vanessa van Uden took part last year and has continued with her fitness regime.

“It was definitely outside my comfort zone but you get heaps of support and it’s great fun,” she says.

“I’d recommend the challenge to any ladies thinking of giving it a go.”

Winter Festival boss Simon Green adds: “This has proved one of our most popular Winter Fest events for the past two years. We’re aiming to make it even bigger and better than before.”

For more information, visit: www.winterfestival.co.nz. Applications close on March 28. Today is the deadline for applications for contenders in the Thriller in the Chiller fight night.
