Three-times Grammy nominee Toni Childs (above) will play an up-close-and-personal charity gig at Queenstown’s Moonlight Country venue on December 10.
The acclaimed American singer-songwriter, famed for hits like Don’t Walk Away and Stop Your Fussin, is performing in a marquee to raise funds for research into Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disorder she has suffered from for more than a decade.
Only 300 tickets will be available for the intimate afternoon concert, where guests will be treated to Valli wines while enjoying the newly developed park-like setting at Moonlight Country, sited at Arrow Junction.
“We hope the event will become an annual charity fundraiser with proceeds going to a different cause each year,” says Moonlight boss Geoff Clear, whose wife Janice also suffers from Graves’ disease.
Tickets including picnic platters will cost $155 a head for a table of 10 and $165 for individual passes. On sale soon.
