A Queenstown band is headlining a casino-themed fundraiser for St John.
Local foursome Rock Felony will round out the entertainment for the event tomorrow at Xtreme Bar.
The group – which is Rebeca Barnes on vocals, drummer Jason ‘Stumpy’ Chisholm, bassist Warren ‘Wai’ Dix and lead guitarist Brandon ‘Bardie’ Jull – play an eclectic mix of covers and got together with Barnes last year.
Casino tables are being provided by the local Lions club – the $40 tickets get you a drink on arrival, nibbles and casino chips to gamble with.
Those with winnings at the end of the night will be able to bid during an auction – prizes have been put up by local firms Canyon Swing, KJet, skydive company NZONE, Totally Tourism, Southern Discoveries and paintball operator Xtreme Indoor Reball.
Tickets can be purchased from Malbas Tavern.
