Main claim to fame in the resort: Committee dodging (until now). A number of New Zealand Institute of
Architects awards for the design of building projects in the Wakatipu

Main reason for standing: My ability to see the big picture and bring a creative and visionary approach to the governance of the QLDC in order to benefit our social, cultural and economic wellbeing

Single biggest issue of interest: A future for the Queenstown Lakes District that enables it to achieve and maintain a status as a quality international tourist destination, that is no less than equal to other international destinations and that has sustainable and consistent growth. However, at the same time ensuring to take care of and protect our fantastic natural environment

Biggest gaffe: Often fail to recognise people when seeing or meeting them out of context
