Kiwi songbirds’ Queenstown charity gig

Soulful sirens Anika Moa, Boh Runga and Hollie Smith return to Queenstown this weekend for a charity gig.

The super-group stepped forward to help save the cash-strapped Queenstown Lakes Family Centre after hearing of its plight at their Winery Tour performance at Waitiri Creek in February.

The trio, which teamed up last year, have performed sell-out gigs across the country while releasing a critically-acclaimed debut album.

An exclusive 230-person fundraising dinner, with tickets priced at $170, is at Lake Hayes’ Stoneridge Estate this Saturday.
