Queenstown indie-rockers The Skitzofrantics launch their debut single Look Between the Flames with a gig at the Dux de Lux tonight.
The band has been building a solid following in the South Island since forming last year.
Also on tonight’s bill are rising local outfit Eddie Ledderhead plus Dhe Isto Experiment, a recently-arrived punk act from Spain.
“For an international town like Queenstown, this will be a truly, internationally original experience,” Skitzofrantics frontman Liam O’Connell says.
Meanwhile on Saturday, Dunedin party-rock group Black Boy Peaches make a welcome return to the resort with a show at the Dux.
The band recently finished three videos for songs from their seven-track EP Slasher and recording sessions are ongoing for the band’s debut album Company Feel Good, due for release online in December.
