Queenstown’s burgeoning bike festival is a few days away.
The annual celebration of life on two wheels – which has grown rapidly in recent years – starts Saturday with the Super D enduro.
This year sees more than 25 events for weekend warriors, hardened pros, social riders and youngsters.
Downhillers, cross-country chuggers, road riders and freestylists are all catered for with races, slopestyle contests, missions and more leisurely rides.
And the off saddle activities continue to draw bikers to the resort – with films, concerts and the hugely popular 16inch Pub World Championships.
See this week’s Mountain Scene print edition for a full run-down of the upcoming festival.
