Comic to Queenstown: Get involved’

A star Kiwi comic headlining in Queenstown this weekend says watch out for plenty of audience interaction.
Seven Days regular Steve Wrigley, who has been in the comedy game for more than 15 years, says he likes to tailor his show for the crowd in front of him.

“I like crowds that get involved, always enjoy when it’s a bit more interactive and having a bit of fun with people in front row and bit of back and forth,” Wrigley says.

“It’s different show to show. I’ve done four or five shows in a row in the same town and each show is completely different. You make it for whoever is there, whoever’s shown up on the night.”

Wrigley will be supported by fellow comics Jamie Bowen and Jarred Fell.

The trio play SkyCity Casino on Saturday night from 9pm. Tickets are $25, with a 15 per cent discount off the dinner bill for those dining at Wild Thyme prior.
