Queenstown freeski grom Conor Dolman (pictured) will soon practise his tricks on an Olympic-size trampoline.
The 13-year-old is one of 12 local kids in the TNT Freeski team – which has just been granted $10,000 from the Southern Trust towards a new tramp for dryland training.
The snow junkies are coached by United States import Steve Benally, who helps them take the tricks learnt bouncing on the tramp on to the snow at terrain parks at Coronet Peak and The Remarkables.
The new tramp means training will be able to shift from the confines of Wakatipu High’s gym to the Events Centre, where there’ll be no limits on how high they can jump.
