Far travelled Kiwi singer-songwriter Jackie Bristow warms up for the release of her third album with a Gibbston gig.
She’ll showcase tracks from upcoming CD Freedom – and blast some of her old favourites – at Gibbston’s Waitiri Creek Winery on Saturday.
Bristow, originally from Gore, flits between New Zealand, Australia and the United States where she’s recorded with top session players for superstar acts such the Rolling Stones and Rod Stewart.
Her songs have also featured on hit TV shows like Outrageous Fortune, Shortland Street and Home and Away.
“After [Gibbston], I’m going back to Australia to open for Shawn Mullins before heading to the States for more shows,” Bristow says.
“There are lots of exciting things ahead.”
