Skinner has been awarded the scholarship for the Diploma of Hospitality Management, while Dell has been given the nod for the Diploma of Adventure Tourism Management.

After a year studying architecture in Wellington, Skinner opted to move into hospitality and further her studies in her hometown.

QRC boss Charlie Phillips is delighted to welcome her on board. “Sarah interviewed strongly,” he says.

Dell, from Glenorchy, also impressed the scholarship panel.

Phillips adds: “Libby convinced us of her intent to become a leading student and a successful individual
in whatever she turned her hand to.”
