Kiwi ace Nick Hyne hits the rail with his back leg not strapped in to add difficulty to a manoeuvre during Coronet Peak’s Rail Jam in near-whiteout conditions last Sunday – the former Burton Open slopestyle champ won “best trick” among male snowboarders.
Jordan Rehrer from the United States won the male snowboard section and Byron Wells took out best male skier. Christy Prior won best female snowboard section and local lass Colleen Rotto won “best skier slam”.
