A cantilevered pool in Queenstown’s Kelvin Heights with an infinity edge creating a five-metre ‘waterfall’ (pictured) has been recognised with a national award.
It won Mayfair Pools and Spas’ Cromwell branch, which designed and installed the pool, ‘Platinum Pool of the Year’ at the recent Mayfair Pools national conference in Taupō.
As you walk through the home, designed by Dunedin-based Gary Todd Architecture, all you see is the morphing of the pool into Lake Whakatipu.
The homeowners praise Mayfair Pools and Spas for ‘‘working through any challenges for a stunning and unique final outcome with a beautiful swimming pool and grand waterfall’’.
