When an evil wizard (Gargmal) chases six Smurfs out of their magical land they find themselves in New York City after Clumsy Smurf accidently falls into a vortex and takes his friends with him. Here is where they find themselves in a new adventure.

So it’s a race against time before Gargmal finds them and becomes the most powerful wizard of them all but that’s only if he can find the Smurfs. Will the smurfs get home before the blue moon festival is over? Or will they be trapped there forever?

I think that The Smurfs is a great family movie, children and adults of all ages will enjoy this story as its funny and an exciting and a dangerous adventure.

This movie is now showing at Reading Cinemas in Queenstown.
