Queenstown, batting first against Dunedin’s Taieri, racked up 192 in their 50 overs, with Cam Fawkner top-scoring with 78.
Taieri were 158 for 9 in reply but their last pair put on 35 runs to overtake Queenstown.
Sunday’s game was originally played a week earlier but was abandoned halfway through due to rain.
