New boss: Sofitel general manager Vincent Macquet

The new Sofitel Hotel & Spa general manager has more than 10 years’ experience in five-star properties.
Vincent Macquet, former hotel manager of Auckland’s The Langham and latterly Hilton Hotel Adelaide’s director of operations, starts early next month.
Macquet replaces Wouter de Graaf, who’s now running the rebranded Sofitel Auckland Viaduct Harbour.
