Rugby stars to coach Qtown juniors

All Blacks Jimmy Cowan and Tom Donnelly are among six Highlanders running a skills session for junior players in Queenstown on Tuesday.

The session, for registered players up to 13 years old, has been organised by new Highlanders sponsor, Queenstown-based Locations Realty.

Other Highlanders attending are former All Black Tony Brown, Kenny Lynn, Brayden Mitchell and John Hardie, along with manager Leicester Rutledge, marketing manager Doug McSweeney and commercial manager Mike Kerr.

The session at the Queenstown Recreation Ground, runs from 3.30-4.45pm.

Meanwhile, the Highlanders have donated a jersey signed by key players for an upcoming Glenorchy Community Association event to raise funds to cover visits by a community nurse.
