The country’s best ski racers have been named in the national squad today – but don’t expect any surprises.

Olympian Ben Griffin is head of the line-up for the 14-strong 2011-2012 New Zealand Alpine Ski Team – which has exactly the same skiers as the previous year.

Talented Queenstowners Adam Barwood, Tim Cafe, Andrew Wylie, Taylor Rapley and Harriet Miller-Brown have once again made the cut, along with Willis Feasey, Finlay Neeson, Jamie Prebble, Nick Prebble, Leighton Winsloe, Sarah Jarvis, Allie McGlinn and Emily Wright, Snow Sports NZ announced.

“The Alpine Sport Committee is pleased to announce a strong New Zealand Ski Team ahead of the upcoming winter season and the second 100% Pure NZ Winter Games,” national team selector and men’s head coach Nils Coberger says.
