Queenstown cricket side in final

The Queenstown men’s cricket side is in Saturday’s final of the Scurr Cup Central Otago Twenty/20 competition. 

Queenstown qualified after two round robin wins in Alexandra last Saturday. The team beat Albion by eight wickets and Cromwell by 70 runs. Queenstown’s Fraser Wilson scored 61 not out in the first game while teammates Kyle Paterson and Cam Fawkner (right) scored 75 and 68, respectively, in the second game. 

The final is at the Events Centre from 3.45pm – Queenstown’s opponent will be determined by a morning game.
