The Ice Blacks completed their pre-World Cup tour against Finland team HC Storm with two more comprehensive wins last week.
The Ice Blacks – featuring Queenstown players Braden Lee, Stacey Rout, Brett Speirs and Hayden Argyle –
dominated the four-game series 4-0, with matches played in Auckland, Queenstown and Dunedin.
The Kiwis thrilled the sellout crowd at the Queenstown Fun Centre last Thursday with entertaining plays such as this slapshot, above, from Joshua Hay.
Their 15-6 victory was followed by a 5-3 win in the final match in Dunedin the next day. The World Cup runs from April 10-16 in Dunedin.
