Queenstown downhill mountain biker George Brannigan finishes his UCI World Cup run at Canadian ski resort Mont-Sainte-Anne earlier this month.

Despite his tyre exploding, the Commencal Vallnord pro, 24, still made the top 10.

“Stoked on 7th place and to be back in the top 10,” he says on social media.

Brannigan, who’s at Crankworx in Whistler this week, has been invited to the Red Bull Hardline, held in Wales next month, one of the toughest downhill races in the world.
