And the winner is…

Defending champions Altitude have taken out first-round honours in the premier grade, pipping High School 1 at the post.

The calculators came out on Saturday after both teams easily won their games, with Altitude declared the outright winner on points differential.

Chico’s/ABL and last year’s runner-up GRC battled it out for third and fourth. While Chico’s/ABL were victorious on court, 45-42, last Saturday, GRC’s superior points differential earned them third place.

Year 10A were the runaway winners of the first round in the senior A grade and an automatic promotion means they get their first taste of premier action on Saturday.

Executive Accommodation moves down to senior A grade and a promotion/relegation game between High School Base and High School 2 will determine the other premier grade spot.

Match of the weekend
WHS2 v WHS Base, Saturday 9.15, Court 1

These two high school teams battle it out to decide who’ll stay and who’ll go. And there’ll be no easing into the premier grade for Yr 10A, who take on High School 1 first-up. They’ll need a full-court offensive to pull off a win.
