Altitude throws down gauntlet

GRC’s winning form came to an abrupt halt last Saturday as defending champions Altitude turned up the heat.
With the added firepower of Aston sisters Erin and Amy, the two-time competition winners were red-hot, winning 38-29.

While it’s not the last time the two teams will meet, Altitude will be happy to have drawn first blood.

High School 1, Harcourts and Chico’s/ABL also came out firing, posting big wins over their opponents.

Newcomers Glenorchy celebrated their first victory in the Senior A grade with a convincing 20-goal win over WHS 3.

Both teams have won two out of three and are already putting their hands up to be strong semi-final contenders.

With a similar lineup to last year, Chico’s/ABL have formidable combinations in place but the new-look Harcourts team is sure to bring their A game.
