The push for pink dollars in Queenstown has gone live online. 

A website selling tickets to Queenstown’s Gay Ski Week opened at midnight on Tuesday. 

Earlybird discounted tickets to events during the weeklong celebration from August 25 to September 1 will be available for the next three months. 

Queenstown’s Gay Ski Week is run by resort wife-and-wife team Sally and Mandy Whitewoods who have organised an opening party, karaoke, winery tour and mystery dance party finale as part of the event. 

“Plus participants will be expected to spend a little time on the snow. It’s also an opportunity for Queenstown to host the rainbow sector which typically enjoys a high disposable income,” Sally says.
